Lauren Pellegrino, Research Associate

bio photo pellegrinoLauren Pellegrino conducts qualitative research for projects related to the implementation and evaluation of Integrated Planning and Advising for Student Success (iPASS) and guided pathways reforms.

Lauren recently earned a PhD in educational research and policy analysis with a concentration in community colleges at North Carolina State University. She holds a BBA and an MBA from Stetson University in Florida. Her dissertation examines the process of organizational change and how it unfolds for relevant stakeholders in the context of a large-scale, five-year initiative aimed at improving online student outcomes at a community college in the southeast.

Prior to CCRC, Lauren worked as a business administration instructor and QEP assessment team member at Wake Technical Community College and as a qualitative methods teaching assistant and research assistant at North Carolina State University.

Her research interests include organizational change; issues and reforms impacting persistence and retention; and the individual, sociocultural, and institutional factors associated with college student success.
