Noemi Garibay

Research Assistant

Noemi Garibay is a research assistant at CCRC, where she focuses on understanding the support networks of first-generation college students. Prior to joining CCRC, Garibay worked for the college access nonprofit 10,000 Degrees. While there, she supported first-generation, low-income high school students in San Francisco and San Jose through the matriculation and financial aid processes to their local community college.

Garibay earned a BA in sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is a first-year master's student in the Higher and Postsecondary Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University.
