Daniel Sparks, Research Assistant

Daniel Sparks is a research assistant at CCRC, where he focuses on equity and access in higher education as well as labor market returns to education. Prior to joining CCRC, Sparks worked in operations and evaluation for Matriculate, a CollegePoint Initiative organization focused on increasing low-income student enrollment in selective colleges.

Sparks holds a BA in political economy and a BS in environmental studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MSc in education from Dominican University. He is currently a PhD student in economics and education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
