CCRC partnered with the Connecticut Community College System to study the impact of developmental education policies on student success. As part of this work, CCRC helped the system analyze data on the relationship between student test scores and success in developmental and college-level (or "gatekeeper") courses. CCRC also developed a guide to promising developmental education practices designed to stimulate discussion among faculty and others within the system on how to improve outcomes of the many students who enter the Connecticut system underprepared for college-level work.
