Learning Through Simulated Information Technology Enterprises

August 2003–July 2006

This study evaluated Learning Through Simulated Information Technology Enterprises (L-SITEs), a program that offered an online, simulated business experience to business and information technology students, allowing them to collaboratively wire buildings, develop web-marketing strategies, and conduct other business transactions. CCRC used faculty interviews and student and faculty surveys to assess participants’ satisfaction with the curriculum and to evaluate the implementation process.

This study was funded by the National Science Foundation.
