CCRC conducted a three-year study of the implementation of Achieving College Transitions Now (ACT Now!) at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The program was developed to support students with disabilities in transitioning from high school to postsecondary education. ACT Now! offers workshops and materials for students, as well as for high school and college faculty. CCRC’s study examined an important but frequently overlooked segment of the community college population and addressed questions on the purpose and potential effectiveness of transition strategies that are relevant to the study of higher education as a whole.
