As transfer enrollments continue to rebound after the pandemic, four-year institutions and their community college partners have a renewed opportunity to strengthen the transfer pathway to bachelor’s degrees and beyond. In this webinar, researchers from CCRC, the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, and the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program highlighted fresh data on transfer trends and outcomes and shared actionable guidance from the updated Transfer Playbook. While transfer outcomes nationally are persistently low, presenters highlighted areas of opportunity from national data and summarized findings from fieldwork at high-performing transfer partnerships to describe promising strategies for increasing transfer and bachelor’s completion outcomes on a large scale.
