Most entering community college students intend to transfer and earn a bachelor’s degree, yet few actually do. This session organized key findings from recent transfer research into five major obstacles to transfer success gleaned from national and state-level patterns of students’ transfer enrollments, credit accumulation, and efficient completion. Participants joined in considering areas of future research and considering the implications for transfer policy and practice.
