
Katelyn Perruc is a research assistant at CCRC currently working on the Developmental Education Reform Innovation Incubator, How Community College Students Choose Programs of Study, and Optimizing Course Availability and Delivery for On-Time Completion projects. She has conducted qualitative research on teaching and learning practices, developmental education reform, workforce development, and faculty learning. She is passionate about uplifting the student voice to ensure that student’s educational experiences are being reflected in research, policy, and practice.
Perruc is a master’s student in the International & Comparative Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. A Posse alum, she also holds a BA from Hamilton College, where she double majored in public policy and Hispanic studies, and minored in sociology. At Hamilton, she supported faculty research and engaged in independent research projects, including two senior honors theses: one on the ethics of ESOL programs and the other on the representation of “radical care” in Latin American film. Prior to joining CCRC, she completed a fellowship at DonorsChoose, an education non-profit, where she worked on the Equity & Impact and Product Marketing teams to combat inequity in school funding across the country.
