In March 2026, the Commission on Purposeful Pathways, supported by the Gates Foundation, released its report, A Launchpad for Life: A Vision for Purposeful Pathways for All Students. The report outlines an integrated framework that connects advising, dual enrollment, and career-connected learning in ways that cultivate students’ purpose, belonging, and social capital. This two-part webinar series will explore how members of the NACEP community are working to integrate strong advising and career development into their dual enrollment programs.
The first webinar will spotlight the how partnerships are strengthening advising for dual enrollment students, and the second webinar will feature programs connecting dual enrollment to high school career programs and work-based learning experiences. Both webinars will examine how dual enrollment can be implemented in ways to build students’ sense of purpose, belong, and social capital thereby serving as a better launching pad to future success.
