Operationalizing Student Feedback To Strengthen Access and Support
July 21, 2026, 2:15—3:45 PM
Expanding access to dual enrollment is only the first step ensuring students are heard, supported, and fully engaged is equally critical. This 90-minute interactive workshop brings together K12 and collegepractitioners to explore how student feedback and cross-system partnerships can redesign dual enrollment programming for greater accessibility and intentionality.
National student engagement data reveal persistent gaps between students’ awareness of supports like advising and tutoring and their actual use, a challenge this session directly addresses. Drawing on CCRC’s DEEP framework and focus group insights as well as preliminary findings from the National Dual Enrollment Survey of Student Engagement (DESSE), participants will see how qualitative and quantitative feedback loops can make programming more responsive to what students actually want and need.
Through hands-on activities and direct engagement with student voices, participants will collaborate across roles and systems to co-develop aligned strategies that connect access with meaningful support and instructional practices that ensure students’ sense of belonging and academic success.

Show Me the ROI: Making the Case for Investments in Purposeful Dual Enrollment
July 23, 2026, 9:45—11:15 p.m.
Moving beyond dual enrollment as “programs of privilege” or “random acts” also requires strategic investments and not just “an office of one.” This session will share CCRC research on how colleges across the country are creating sustainable business models to scale purposeful dual enrollment practices aimed to expand access to college and career opportunity. Drawing on case studies from states with different levels of public funding for dual enrollment, presenters will highlight strategies for financially sustainable investments in advising and student supports, high-quality instruction and support, and expanded outreach and access—without passing costs on to students.
Co-presenters from the Alamo College District will share how they are making investments in expanding access to purposeful dual enrollment, and attendees will learn how to develop and use a cost/revenue model for dual enrollment to make the case for greater investments in purposeful dual enrollment practices.
