The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), through a contract with the U.S. Department of Education, commissioned CCRC to draft a paper on dual enrollment data systems and research. The resulting paper is intended to help states and districts think about and develop data systems to evaluate the outcomes of their dual enrollment programs. The paper provides concise descriptions of the types of research that can be conducted using various methods, as well as sample research projects, and it may be a useful resource for states and districts seeking to develop a dual enrollment research agenda.
