Sarahi Hernandez is a summer research intern at CCRC, where she provides support for an ongoing project that seeks to implement the MMA scale in Texas and Arkansas. Hernandez is a rising senior at City College of New York and is aiming to earn a BA in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Women and Gender studies. She is currently in the S Jay Levy Fellowship, which granted her the opportunity to join the CCRC team and gain knowledge within the research realm. Hernandez is interested in research pertaining to Latino immigrants and the correlation of achieving higher education. Hernandez plans to implement the research skills obtained from her time at CCRC in the further pursuit of higher education in Sociology.
