At CCRC, Cindy Do works primarily on development and administrative tasks while supporting research-related work. She is a first-year student in the Education Policy program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Beyond her role at CCRC, she is also a Zankel fellow working with REACH, provides support in classrooms at Teachers College Community School, and volunteers as a middle school climbing instructor with Harlem Rock Club.
Do earned a BS in civil and environmental engineering from CSU Fullerton and worked as an engineer for several years prior to teaching middle school science and pursuing a master’s degree in teaching at USC. It is worth noting that her academic path was significantly molded by her experiences at community colleges including Cypress College, Fullerton College, and Pasadena City College. While she may not have graduated with degrees from these institutions, she acknowledges their profound influence on shaping her present achievements and fueling her enthusiasm for working at CCRC.
