Carmen Huynh is a senior research assistant at Teachers College (T.C.), Columbia University. Her research is focused on the intersection of public finance and educational outcomes. Huynh brings a diverse set of experiences from the education technology and finance sectors, having executed a number of transactions for technology companies and nonprofits focused on delivering high-quality educational experiences for learners of all ages and backgrounds. Notably, she led the first public capital market transactions for Community Development Financial Institutions and non-profit affordable housing developers during her tenure at Morgan Stanley. Huynh holds a BA from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, where she was awarded the Lieutenant John A. Larkin Memorial Prize for the best senior thesis in political economy.
