Ariel Deutsch is a senior project assistant at CCRC where she conducts research and provides technical assistance for projects on community college finance, adult education policy and practice, and workforce development, among other topics. Before joining CCRC, Deutsch worked at a civilian police oversight agency. She also brings experience as a civil rights paralegal. Deutsch is especially interested in the intersection of law, politics, and economic justice.
Deutsch earned a BA in the College of Social Studies—a multidisciplinary program in government, economics, and history—and Italian from Wesleyan University. At Wesleyan, Deutsch served in student government and supported faculty research on the financialization of the U.S. economy.
