Grasping for a Foothold on the Enrollment Cliff

Tom Brock told Open Campus that community colleges are still serving fewer students than they were a decade ago, which raises financial concerns. “It may not be such a bad thing, though, if smaller enrollments help community colleges serve the students they have more effectively. Spring Enrollment Steady, but Not for All Institutions
“Enrollments are really in sort of a deep hole. It’s definitely moving in the right direction, but there’s a lot of ground to make up,” John Fink told Inside Higher Ed in a recent article on current term enrollment data.
