CCRC’s 2024–2026 Biennial Report highlights major findings and activities from the center’s recent work, including updated measures of community college progress, such as increased completion rates, reduced reliance on developmental coursework, broader use of targeted placement practices, expanded bachelor’s degree offerings, and growth in dual enrollment. The report reflects on CCRC’s 30-year history with a letter from Director Thomas Brock. It features discussions of CCRC researchers’ work and how colleges and states are using CCRC research to inform policy and practice. It additionally profiles snapshots of current research spanning topics like multiple measures assessment, partnerships with colleges nationwide, new areas of study (e.g., workforce training, support for first-generation students), and training for early-career researchers, and provides a financial snapshot and quick statistics about outreach and engagement.
