This session explored how researchers and practitioners can harness available data to explore which programs are associated with strong, long-term trajectories for their students, and which may be falling short. Drawing on recent studies from the Community College Research Center, this session also examined the post-completion value of different community college credentials, the long-term trajectories of students who participate in dual enrollment, and the transfer outcomes of students who begin at community colleges and aspire to complete bachelor’s degrees. It highlighted key indicators institutions can leverage to assess student success, providing an analysis framework and data resources. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of how to apply data to support student-centered reform efforts, strengthen college-to-career pathways, and ensure that all students — particularly those who are historically underserved — have access to credentials leading to fulfilling post-completion careers.
