Rufus Glasper is president and CEO of the League for Innovation in the Community College, an international nonprofit organization that strives to cultivate innovation in the community college space, advance the community college field, and make a positive difference for students and communities.
Glasper is the chancellor emeritus of the Maricopa Community Colleges, one of the nation’s largest multi-college community college systems. He served as chancellor from 2003 through February 2016 and held district leadership positions for three decades.
Nationally, Glasper serves as an advisory board member for the Center for Community College Student Engagement at The University of Texas at Austin and The Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research at North Carolina State University. Glasper serves on the board of directors for the Education Design Lab and COMAP, the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications.
