Markeisha Grant conducts qualitative research on developmental education in English and math, the transfer pathway from community college to four-year colleges, and the implementation of technology-based advising systems.
Grant holds an Ed.M from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a concentration in education policy and management. She obtained a BA in psychology from Smith College with a concentration in human development.
Previously, Grant worked for two evaluation companies, Metis Associates and Goodman Research Group, where she conducted program evaluations, survey research, and qualitative research. Her research interests include the high-school-to-college transition and college access and persistence.
