Dr. Shanna Smith Jaggars is a Senior Quantitative Research Associate at the Community College Research Center, Teachers College, Columbia University. She received her doctorate in 2002 from the University of Texas at Austin in Human Development and Family Science, where she focused on methodological and statistical issues within family research. She has taught courses in introductory statistics, experimental design, and the applied use of statistical software packages including SAS, SPSS, and AMOS. She also served for nine years as a statistical consultant at the University of Texas at Austin, with an emphasis on structural equation modeling, hierarchical linear modeling, and other analyses of longitudinal data. She joined the staff of CCRC in 2008 to provide methodological and statistical support to a wide range of community college research projects.
