Doug Slater is Managing Editor at CCRC.  He holds a BA in physics from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MA in cultural anthropology from Columbia University.  He has participated as a researcher in several social science and education studies.  More recently, Mr. Slater has worked as a consulting writer/editor in the fields of labor economics policy, advocacy, and curriculum development.  He has also worked as a textbook editor at The Princeton Review and Macmillan McGraw-Hill.
