Drew Allen, Senior Research Scientist

bio-photo-allendDrew Allen conducts mixed methods research on institution and system-wide reform efforts, including technology-mediated advising and developmental education.

Allen holds a PhD in higher and postsecondary education from New York University, an MA in quantitative methods in the social sciences from Columbia University, and a BA in sociology from the University of Arkansas.

Previously, Allen served as the Associate Dean for Data Analysis and Operations at Princeton University, where he developed and oversaw a data, report, and research infrastructure for the Dean of the Faculty. Prior to his work at Princeton, Allen was the founding director of the Office of Research, Evaluation and Program Support (REPS) at the City University of New York (CUNY), leading research projects on a broad portfolio of educational and workforce development programs across New York City.
