Transfer Playbook Data Tools: Tracking Bachelor's Degree Outcomes for Your Students Who Transfer

The presenters offered tools for colleges to use along with National Student Clearinghouse data that tracks where students transfer and how likely they are to earn a bachelor's degree and in what fields. In statewide workshops organized by Aspen Institute, CCRC, and Public Agenda, the presenters have found these tools and reports useful in catalyzing conversations between community colleges and four-year partners on how to improve transfer outcomes. Partners from an Achieving the Dream college and a state system discussed how they are using data with their four-year partners to improve bachelor's degree completion rates for students who transfer.
