The National Science Board (NSB) held its 473rd meeting on August 3-4, 2021, virtually via a Zoom videoconference hosted by the National Science Foundation (NSF). NSB is the governing board of NSF and an independent advisor to Congress and the president on issues in science and engineering.

During the meeting, CCRC Director Thomas Brock highlighted data on the critical role that community colleges play in creating STEM pathways. The presentation informed NSB members and NSF stakeholders, helping them weigh potential strategies.
