Using Data to Motivate and Inform Guided Pathways Reforms

Date and Time: April 13, 2019 8 a.m.–12 p.m.
Location: Orlando, FL
Venue: Orlando World Center Marriott | Crystal Ballroom A

This half-day workshop helped prepare community college leaders to more effectively use data to guide institutional transformation aimed at improving student success through a guided pathways framework. Attendees learned how to use early leading indicators of longer-term institutional performance to monitor the effectiveness of college reforms, both overall and with specific student populations (e.g., dual enrollment, adults, students of color). They also learned to surface and address inequities in student access and success and set appropriate improvement targets. Presenters from CCRC shared real-life examples and approaches that attendees could use at their institutions.
