Labor Market Returns to Community College Student Pathways

This session features presentations on a set of studies that explore the labor market returns to community college coursework, credentials, and pathways. Presenters describe four studies that explore different aspects of this research question. These studies contribute to the economics literature by examining the returns to the many pathways community college students take through higher education.

The session includes the following presentations:

    • The Labor Market Returns to For-Profit Education: Evidence from Students Who Started in Community College
    • Estimating the Returns to Short-Term and Long-Term Certificates
