Engaging Adjunct Faculty: Promising Practices and Lessons Learned

Research from higher education and K-12 offers insights into the characteristics of high-quality professional development focused on instruction. Drawing on data from two studies conducted in nine community colleges, this session described how pedagogically-focused faculty development can be implemented and sustained to meet full-time and adjunct faculty’s instructional needs.
