This session presented lessons learned from research and practice about the opportunities and challenges of advising reform. Presenters shared findings from seven years of research on core areas of advising, including informational and targeted outreach, advising sessions, and the use of technology. A college leader addressed the dynamics of reform at one college, and the session included an interactive exercise and discussion.
