Emily Ferron is a first-year master's candidate in the Social-Organizational Psychology program at Teachers College and the office assistant for CCRC. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's in psychology in 2018 and was most recently a preschool teacher at Primrose School of Tampa Palms. Her research and professional interests are in organizational development, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. Outside of academics, she loves volunteering in her community. In Florida, she was a guardian ad litem volunteer for three years; in this role, she advocated in court for the best interests of foster children who had been abandoned, neglected, or abused. She also volunteered for two years at the Humane Society, where she fostered newborn kittens and puppies that were too young to be adopted.
