Diana Tiburcio

Diana Tiburcio is a first-year master's candidate in the Sociology and Education Program and a research assistant for the First Generation Student Network at CCRC. They recently graduated from Amherst College with a double major in sociology and education studies. Their current research interests are in educational inequality, the college access nexus, student activism, and critical race theory. Outside of the academy, they love community organizing in their hometown—which includes hosting Passaic City, NJ's first pride parade!
