Brianna Neal

Research Assistant

Brianna Neal is a research assistant at CCRC. She focuses on how community college funding and institutional support programs impact progression and completion rates among adult learners of color.

Prior to joining CCRC, Neal worked in several student affairs roles, including as a coordinator for the CUNY Recovery Corps program and as an assistant residence hall director at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). Neal's higher education work has primarily focused on bridging the knowledge gap between community advocates, policymakers, and educators to foster student success within and outside of the classroom.

Neal is also a master’s student in the Education Policy and Social Analysis program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research interests include resource allocation, cross-sector collaboration, and the support coordination of first-generation students of color into postsecondary education and beyond.
