\/><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ARCC Network recently hosted a webinar focused on student and instructor experiences with online education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The May 8 webinar, hosted by researchers from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cepr.harvard.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pullias.usc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pullias Center for Higher Education at the University of Southern California<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, shared findings from an ongoing study being conducted in the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The researchers discussed online learning innovations during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in LACCD, as well as data on four online education modalities: synchronous, asynchronous, HyFlex, and hybrid.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attendees also heard from distance education coordinators within the district about the practical application of these innovations and gained insights into potential challenges and opportunities in online classrooms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch the recording below to learn more about how LACCD is adapting to an increasing demand for distance
