Conference: Queens Collaborative Transfer Summit
Date and Time: June 16, 2016
Location: New York, NY
Venue: Queens College Campus | Student Union Ballroom

CCRC has partnered with the Aspen Institute and the National Student Clearinghouse to conduct research on community college–to–university transfer. John Fink of CCRC and KC Deane of Aspen presented results of two recent products from this research: (1) a January 2016 report on measures of the effectiveness of two- and four-year institutions in enabling students to transfer and earn bachelor’s degrees; and (2) a May 2016 report on the practices of partnerships of two- and four-year institutions that have better-than-expected bachelor’s outcomes for students who start at community colleges. The presenters shared findings with representatives from the four CUNY community and senior colleges in Queens and moderated a presidential panel on improving transfer.
