Sung-Woo Cho is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. His research interests include public school choice, U.S. state education policies, financial aid in higher education, and social equity in education. He is currently co-authoring a paper with Randall Reback and Eric Brunner entitled: Inter-District Choice, Housing Values, and Residential Segregation.
Sung-Woo holds a BA in Public Policy and Economics from Stanford University, where he wrote an honors thesis under the guidance of Bob Hall at the Hoover Institution. Previously, Sung-Woo worked at Undergraduate Admission at Stanford University. He currently manages a staff of nine undergraduate Resident Advisers in Furnald Hall at Columbia University.
