Joanne Wang Golann is a Senior Research Assistant at the Community College Research Center.  She received a M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in English from Amherst College.  She has also worked as an English teaching assistant in Taiwan under the Fulbright program.  Her research at CCRC has been focused on the high school to college transition, the school to work transition, and career and technical education.  Currently, she is working on the Concurrent Courses: Pathways to College and Careers Initiative, a new career-focused dual enrollment initiative in California.
