Rachel Hare

Rachel Hare is a Project Coordinator at the Community College Research Center and a Ph.D. student in Politics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She holds a master’s degree in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Johns Hopkins University. She worked on out-of-school youth and out-of-school time issues at the American Youth Policy Forum (AYPF) in Washington DC and contributed to Helping Youth Succeed Through Out-of-School Time Programs and Whatever It Takes: How Twelve Communities are Reconnecting Out-of-School Youth both published by AYPF. Her research interests include out-of-school youth, urban politics, and high school reform.
