The Fall 2007 newsletter, Update on Research and Leadership, published by The Office of Community College Research and Leadership at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, features an interview with Dr. Katherine Hughes, Assistant Director for Work and Education Reform Research at CCRC. Dr. Hughes discusses the potential of credit-based transition programs (such as dual enrollment) for preparing youth for college and highlighted the research CCRC is conducting in this area.
