More than half of surveyed faculty members at Achieving the Dream colleges review or use data on placement test scores, retention rates, graduation rates, and measures of student learning other than grades at least once a year.

In a 2007 survey on data use at Achieving the Dream colleges, CCRC found that relatively high proportions of faculty and administrators at 41 community colleges participating in Achieving the Dream use data on student outcomes.

Achieving The Dream: Community Colleges Count is a multiyear national initiative to help more community college students succeed. The initiative is particularly concerned about student groups that traditionally have faced significant barriers to success, including students of color

and low-income students.
